3. Service Agreement
3.1 Quotations
All quotations provided are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final costs may vary if additional work is discovered or required. Any variations will be communicated and approved before proceeding.
3.2 Acceptance
A binding contract is formed when you accept our quote either verbally, in writing, via email, or by allowing work to commence. Emergency repairs accepted over the phone constitute agreement to our terms.
3.3 Scope of Work
We will perform services as described in the agreed quote or work order. Any additional work required will be discussed and quoted separately before proceeding.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Methods
We accept payment by bank transfer, credit/debit card, and online payments. All prices quoted include VAT where applicable.
4.2 Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger projects, staged payments may be arranged. Emergency callout fees are payable at the time of service.
4.3 Late Payment
Late payments may incur interest charges at the rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum, as permitted under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:

- Obtain necessary permissions if you are not the property owner
- Remove or protect valuable items from work areas
- Ensure pets are secured during work
6. Guarantees and Warranties
6.1 Workmanship Guarantee
We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 to 24 months from completion (specific period varies by service type). This guarantee covers defects in our work but does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.
6.2 Materials and Parts
Parts and materials supplied by us are covered by manufacturers' warranties where applicable. We will assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer defects.
6.3 Exclusions
Our guarantee does not cover issues arising from: customer misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, work performed by third parties, or failure to maintain systems as recommended.
7. Cancellation and Changes
7.1 Customer Cancellation
You may cancel scheduled non-emergency work with at least 24 hours' notice without charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.

We maintain public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. All tradespeople are fully insured for the work they perform.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of remedying defective work or, at our discretion, refunding the cost of the specific service in question. We are not liable for consequential losses, lost profits, or indirect damages.
8.3 Exclusions
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Health and Safety
We comply with all relevant health and safety legislation. Our tradespeople follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment. We may temporarily restrict access to work areas for safety reasons.
